    Best release so far!

    Loving it!

Just one issue, is anybody having problems with the ‘Menuextra’ icons not appearing when placing a SSB in the menu bar?

I can still click on the placeholder but there is no icon displayed.

Beau, I believe it’s because you’re using an old Fluid Instance, I mean created way back… Try to create a new one with this release, and it should have its icon.

    Hi Jerome,

Thanks for the reply. I tried deleting the original ssb, and recreating it (fb chat) although i’ve now noticed if I just use a .png instead of a .icns it shows in the menu.. otherwise it doesnt. Can anybody else confirm this behaviour? Or am I just going crazy! haha

    Thanks again.

I tried this afternoon, and I confirm this. Even with a .icns that does have a 16px size included, only the PNG appears in the menu bar (and way too dirty).

@All there’s a known bug in this release. If you create the SSB with a .icns file, the menu extra icon is not created. so if you turn that SSB into a menu extra later, no icon will appear for the menu extra. I’ll try to fix that in the next release.

    I dont get it..
Why is the dock badge only been shown when I use the “English (US)” language setting for Gmail?
As soon as I set it back to German the badge does not show up anymore.

Will there be a fix for foreign languages?

Just tried Fluid and I love the idea but all I get is when I try to create

“Operation could not be completed. Bad file descriptor.”??

    I’m running os x 10.5.3.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi!
Is there a way to have the “unread mail” badge count for Google apps mail? It seems to only work with Gmail :/

Thanks a lot for any help!

I love the ability to close a window and reopen it again without the page reloading. But there doesn’t seem to be a way to do it with a window with tabs (I keep a Gmail account and a Google Apps count open in separate tabs).

I tried using Shift-Cmd-W but that didn’t work; it closes one tab first. Any chance you could add that?

@josh, click the red ‘x’ close button in the titlebar. that will do what you are asking for.
