Fluid 0.9.1 Released
Fluid 0.9.1 features a slew of bug fixes and browsing enhancements.
Fluid.app now supports <link rel=”fluid-icon” href=”…”> tags for hirez favicons, and <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” href=”…”> tags for iPhone-optimized icons.
Fluid SSBs are enhanced with preferences (under the Appearance Preference Pane) for changing SSB window levels (Normal, Floating, Below Desktop, Overlay [above Dashboard]), window opacity, and Spaces behavior. Also included is a preference for making an SSB browser window draggable from anywhere (like Dashboard Widgets).
The full list of changes can, as always, be found in the changelog.

While I appreciate the enormous amount of work that you put in Fluid, there’s one thing that does not work *as expected* since the last release: when I close a Fluid instance (not quit, just close) and then open it again via the Dock, no window open anymore whereas it used to work that way.
I don’t know if it’s intended, and I didn’t find anything related in the changelog. Could you provide more informations about this, please?
Thanks again for your hard work and your wonderful app!

That’s a bug. I’ll try to fix it in a small release in the next day or two.

I’m stoked about the new widgety dragginess! Does this mean we can keep our fingers crossed for fluid.window.disableChrome() in an upcoming version?

Hi,
Well i discovered fluid a few weeks ago when the trying period of mailplane stopped.
So i use fluid for my gmail instance and i like that but how can i do to see in my gmail dock icon the number of unread messages?
Thanks a lot for the great job
(sorry for my bad english)

That’s the point. You have to set the language of Gmail to English. It didn’t work in French, so I switched to English and I now have the new interface and the unread dock count
