@vor, I'm def familiar with Flock. In fact, Flock has been a major inspiration for the Plug-In API. So far, I have not looked into their code... But I'll let u in on a secret...

I'm putting the finishing touches on the Fluid Cocoa API... and then... there'll be an AJAX API as well... that's actually quite a simple addition on top of the Cocoa API. So compatibility with Flock extras might be interesting... BUT Flock is based on Firefox/XUL, and any Flock extra that leverages that (I'm assuming that's most) will not be compatible, so dont get too excited about that.

Much more interesting is wider compatibility with other web-based widget platforms like google, netvibes, etc.

You should look at Flock. It's open Source so you could use their code to make a more advanced version since their mediabar has very similar functionality.

Looks awesome! I'm really looking forward to this release. I've already got ideas on what I'd like to use it for.

Maybe you should have a look at ScreenFlow.
On my MacBook the recording only uses around 30% of the cpu so there're no loud fan noises.

Greetings

Hi Todd

You are a busy camper -- This looks really nice and I really like the idea of providing some custom services to the SSB - It'll make them feel like real Desktop apps.

Looking forward to seeing the plugin API.
